As far as clean up goes, most of the sugar is kept away from the heating unit in the center so that doesn’t get all messed up, and the bowl can be removed easily to clean out in the sink.  Cleaning out the bowl is simple since the cotton candy is only sugar and will dissolve in water.

Here is a more professional machine, which comes with a more professional price tag at $586.  The machine is 26x16x16 inches and weighs in at 42 pounds.  It has a switch to turn on the motor, another to turn on the heater and a knob to control the heating temperature, it also has a very large basin with which to collect all that cotton candy.

This is a candy floss machine you would want to get if you need to serve many children at say a party, it can serve up the floss quickly and in mass quantities, the quality of the candy is just like that you would get at carnivals or festivals.

If you can afford this candy floss machine, go for it, otherwise the cheaper toy brand might be a safer bet.
